The company bid low on the quote to get the job and then when things were not finished they said that wasn't in the budget. The workers sent were less than qualified, one the owner admitted to having a drug problem, but was with ths company for a long time and had fired him a number of times. The quality of work so poor I questioned if they had even performed this kind of work. They admitted to never removing a load bearing wall after I questioned the temporary wall they had put up. Then they were not even going to use the correct materials to support the span. They pulled no permits to do the work on my home. It was only after I had to call the city to ensure that they purchased the correct beam that they pulled permits. Because I was going to have it inspected, and even then he drywalled over it before getting it inspected. They installed windows that were not square, just by visual I could see it and they tried to say it would be ok. They installed a door that had such a gap that you could see daylight at the top and the weatherstripping was not even making contacy with anything. I showed him with a level how bad they were and made them re-do them. If i could give them a zero I would. I would not hire this company to build a dog house.

I won't use this place again. I ordered a new entry door and it was not a pleasant experience. First, they lost my order and had no idea -- I waited months thinking it was normal and then after calling multiple times to check, they realized something was wrong. The sales guy made a HUGE deal about the doors they sold being higher quality than big box store doors. Then when the door finally came, the sticker on the box clearly indicated that they had ordered from a big box store (maybe they'd hoped I wouldn't notice?). The installer was temperamental and didn't pay much attention to details (there is a big bow and gap in the jam). He refused to replace the flashing on the bottom of the door (I had asked the sales guy for this) because, as he put it, if it got dented he'd have to come replace it. That doesn't even seem remotely true; I guess he just didn't want to do it.
